May 17, 2010 - 4 Months Old

Both babies received their 4 month old vaccinations yesterday. Tenley ended up getting a fever so they gave her some Tylenol and down the temperature went. Mom and Dad were told last night to bring the mini-van to the hospital on Thursday for the car seat inspection (they won't discharge any baby without verifying the car seat is properly installed). Luckily, Pop-Pop installed them himself and he has pretty good experience with moving car seats around from car to car, so they should be good to go. They are also going to schedule Will for his "snip, snip" circumcision. Minimum hosptial recooperation time for this procedure is two days so they want to make sure to get him scheduled so nothing else holds these babies from going home when the time is right.

Even with their sporadic eating habits, both babies managed to gain weight last week. William weighed 7lbs 4ozs and Tenley weighed 6lbs 6ozs. The goal this week is to have Occupational Therapy continue experimenting with the correct mixture of "source" milk to Simply Thick so they start eating their full feeds.
